Artist's Comments

This is the first sculpture I've ever done. I know the picture isn't ever good, but I'm really good of the sculpture and I hope to post a new picture.

This gives you a better view of the wings (they move by the way)

It's a Luna Moth.

Material's used:
- Wire (non-galvanized steel & silver)
- Acrylic Paint

Wow, Amy! That's pretty awesome!

If I may ask, how long did this take to make? It's so pretty!

Super-snazzy! How were the eyespots made?
Also, I realized today that I've never added you to my watchlist HURPDURPNURRR. It has been rectified.

Uh... I started working on it at the beginning of the semester... So... a two weeks?

I 'wove' the wire together and then flattened it with my dad's vice.

I thought you meant the real eyes for a moment there.

This thing is much smaller in person than it looks on this photo!

It's also more awesome in person, as well. Great work! :D
