I know I haven't posted anything in a while, but I will soon be posting some work I did over vacation (that sounds kinda silly, but oh well).

These will include a birthday gift to ~SaberToothWolf and pictures I took in Smoky Mountain National Park.

Plans for Summer
:bulletwhite:Go to the doctor for the pain in my wrists and knee.
:bulletred: Have surgery for my carpal tunnel if required
:bulletblue: work on art as much as possible so I don't lose my mind while I'm in a cast

Features
This is something I'm doing in exchange for the feature I got in =MafiaDog's journal.

Rules:
The first fourteen people to comment on this journal, requesting a slot, will get three of their pieces featured by me. I'll choose the pieces I like best and write a little something about them. In return, you must do your own feature journal, placing me in the first slot, leading to a total of 15 featured deviants.

City on Fire This one earns inclusion just for the awesome representation of fire. Fire, I've found is a pain to do. It also exhibits wonderful facial expressions and splendid shading.
By a Silent SeaThis one has his usual wonderful shading, in addition to a beautifully rendered digital background
Skeletal Still LifeThe contrast and shading of this piece is eye-popping and really catches your attention. It also shows nice work with charcoal (which I've never been able to master).

But not for long.

I'm off for a bit before college resumes.

I'm afraid next semester will be harder than this one. I have three studios instead of two. There's not much I can do about it though.

For now though... I will relax and be content...

College...

...is killing my social life.

Okay, college is easy for me compared to others. I'm not taking any hard classes this semester.

M/W/F
Anthropology 1001 (Introduction to Physical Anthropology)
Geography 2050 (Basically intro to Meteorology)
T/Th
Art 1011 (Art Structure)
Art 1847 (Drawing Composition)
Art 1441 (Art History: Renaissance - Modern)

I only have homework in the two studio art classes. But when they give homework, they give a lot.

I'm going to try and post as much art as I can during this adjustment period, but I can't make any promises. I'm working on another dreamcatcher and a sword in my free time. The dream catcher is a request from ~mrytu and the sword is an attempt at designing a sword for my main character.

Anthropology was complicated by the fact my teacher was out his whole week because she was called to Texas to help identify bodies. The substitute teacher seemed to being going out of order and had us worried by the last class this week because she started a section that our teacher said we wouldn't be held accountable for.

I like GEO 2050 and ART 1441, they're fun (even if my ART 2050 teacher made us come in on Saturday to make up classes we missed because of the hurricane. Oh! The school canceled Fall Holiday too to make up classes. I guess I can't complain too much though.

Later.

Disappointment

I hate it when things go wrong. I broke my foot and sprained my wrist on the 10th. Then my computer broke I just got it back yesterday. Now things have all piled up again.

Sadly, no one has checked on my stuff lately. I posted an interview for one of my characters and the prologue of my story and there have been few reviews.
